The Ministry of Ecology and Environment recently issued the “Notice on Organizing the Selection of the Second Batch of National Ecological Quality Comprehensive Monitoring Station”(Hereinafter referred to as “Notice”), Start the selection of the second batch of national ecological quality comprehensive monitoring stations.

The “Notice” requires that the ecological and environmental departments of the provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) and Xinjiang production and construction corps organize the application of the application of their own administrative areas, and encourage the joint declaration of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the relevant units of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the local ecological environment monitoring center (station).The Ministry of Ecology and Environment will conduct expert reviews with the application materials organization submitted by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The comprehensive monitoring station that passes the review will be submitted and named in accordance with the procedures, and will be included in the national ecological quality monitoring network. It is expected to complete the selection work in the second half of 2024.

In 2023, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment carried out the selection of the first batch of national ecological quality comprehensive monitoring stations, and officially named 55 national ecological quality comprehensive monitoring stations in November of that year.Protecting repair and realizing the important role of the construction goals of beautiful China.
